Tror denne siden vil bli norsk igjen! Har funnet ut at dette skal bli en side der jeg skriver litt lite, litt oftere. Men vi får se hvordan den planen går.

 I marra(ja, dialekt her) drar jeg tilbake til AC, og begynner min 3. termin. gruer meg litt, siden jeg ikke har gjort ferdig EE, P&C eller TOK. Heller ikke fått jobbet stort med andre fag. Vi får se hvordan det går.

Nå får vi se om denne siden blir en hit!

Spring!

Hey!

 I know I havn’t written here for quite some time now. I am back at AC, and doing fine, although I have a lot of work to do.

The weeks just fly by, and I can’t believe that it’s weekend again. Next wednesday, we start project week, and I leave for Vienna on thursday with the tour choir. It’s going to be great!

There is not much going on this weekend, therefore I’m going to try to catch up on some work. Tonight, I’m watching Ice Age and baking a cake with some people. We also have rehersals for musicals (I’m going to be a princess!), and for chamber choir.

I had a math test today, which I think was ok. I have studied a lot for it, so I hope it pays off. I’m putting out some pictures from prom here(for my mom), which was last weekend.

Hei!

I thought I would give an update on the things that has happened reasently. Rahel, Harlem and I went to Ikea last weekend. This weekend, I went to the Shared Planet canference in London which was great! I also went to a consert with the gospel choir at AC and we had a “house meal”. You can see lots of pictures from the last week on my home page (www.snella89.piczo.com)

 At the Shared Planet conference, we walked through the streets of London to protest against the climate changes. Or the things that’s causing them Then we went to a movie about a Tibetian football team, trying to get a national football team and then play against Greenland – which was a HUGE struggle. On sunday, we went to workshops. I went to a workshop where we learned more about CO2 pollution, offsets(?) and the greenhouse effect. Then I went to a workshop “a rough guide to sustainable living”. It was a great weekend, and it was reeally interesting to learn more about the big CO2 problem.

Update…

It’s tuesday afternoon, and I’ve just finished two houres of math higher level.  But it feels good – now I’m don. I actually don’t have that many new things to say. The gospel choir is going to have a consert on thursday, which is going to be fun. We probably should have practised a bit more, but it will be ok. Today i have service again – EMC. I am almoust done with my kanooing, and will move on to a new topic (don’t remember which one).

Think that was all I had to say now. I’ll write more when I have something better to say

Not a good day…

I have two test today, and the teachers just told us about them yesterday. So therefore I will have a japanese test in about 30 min, and then a physics test 50 min later… That was a bit of the bad news. The worst thing is that my computer is dead. Can’t read the harddrive or something… So I might have lost all of my pictures, music and documents… Not a good day. But now I have to study. I’ll write something a bit more cherefull later.

Loong weekend!

Today it’s sunday, and I just had my first morning at AC during loong weekend. On thursday afternoon, Jen, Henning and I went with Zaffie back to her house in Stroud. We had a great time. It was good to get out of the college, but it is also good to be back again. We only had two days in Stroud, but we got to see the town. On friday evening, we went to a party at Zaffies old school with jungle theme (see pictures at my piczo page). Saturday we went shopping, and then Henning and I went home, while Zaffie and Jen is going back on monday.  Hope everyting is good back home!

Hey!

Thought it was time to switch to english here now. That way everybody can understand what I’m writing. The last week has gone soooo fast. Or the last two weeks…? I am happy with all my subjects here, and are not going to switch any of them (which is what people are doing right about now). I had my second japanese test, and think it’s actually quite interesting. I think japanese is the subject where I have my biggest challenge. I just have to remember to work hard, and then I can do it. I really want to walk out of AC speaking japanese. That would have been so sweet.

Not that much new other than that. Yesterday I went to this presentation about the palestine wall, which was very interesting. It was four palestins giving the presentation, and afterwards I could talk to Uri (in my house), which is israelic, and hear his point of view. It would have been so nice if we could have a presentation like that every week.

Other than that, then I had service on tuesday (and tonight again), and I am so happy that I chose EMC. It is really the service for me. I don’t think I would have liked the other services that much. But there is a downside; I really like the practical sessions that we have on tuesday, but the teory is a bit boring (which I have today ). But I will manage.

From enviremental week

Endelig!

Nå har jeg endelig rotet meg til å skrive litt her igjen. Har ikke akkurat vært så veldig flink til det i det siste.

En kort liten oppdatering:

• Jeg er på Atlantic College!
•  Jeg har valgt: Norsk, Økonomi og Matte på høyere level og fysikk, japansk og Peace and Conflict på standard level.

For øyeblikket har jeg en fritime, og skal etterpå ha japansk, fysikk og norsk. Trives utrolig bra her, og er så glad for at jeg går på denne skolen. Skal prøve å få lagt ut noen bilder, men da må jeg få kommet meg til datan min og koble den opp på internett, og det tar tid – noe jeg ikke har så veldig mye av

Men det var vel egentlig det som jeg fikk skrevet for denne gang. Skal prøve å få skrevet mer her etter hvert. Håper alle har det fint hjemme i Norge!

Oppdatering (egentlig en mail jeg sendte til en del folk bare :p)

Her kommer en liten oppdatering fra AC igjen.. Har det utrolig moro her. Camp var fantastisk, selv om det ogsaa var litt slitsomt.. Vi sov i militertelt med ca 17 stk i hver. Ellers var vi utendors hele tia, og med min norske hud er jeg selvfolgelig sobrent. Paa camp gjorde vi blant annet surfing, cough stearing(vet ikke helt hvordan man skriver det), gikk tur og masse masse mer. Cough stearing er da vi alle tar paa oss vaatdrakter og svommer rundt i vannet i bolgene. var skikkelig moro, men ogsaa veldig kaldt. Ellers har jeg blitt kjent med enda flere personer etter at vi dro paa camp, og stortrives! Alle her er saa koselige.I disse dager driver vi fortsatt med introduction. Da blir vi introdusert til alle de forskjellige fagene, servicene, aktivitetene o.l. Akkurat naa tenker jeg paa aa ta EMC som er en service der man jobber med barn. Eller det forste aaret trener man, og det neste aaret jobber man med barna. Det er en veldig variert service som jeg tror hadde passet bra til meg. Vi lerer kanoing, klatring, svomming og mange mange andre ting (tror vi faar ni forskjellige kvalifikasjoner eller no!). Hvis jeg ikke kommer inn paa den kommer jeg nok til aa bli med i CEP. Det er en service der man drar til skoler og underviser barn. Tror begge hadde passet til meg, saa blir ikke SAA skuffet hvis jeg ikke faar EMC(selv om det er det jeg vil mest)….

Som sagt har jeg valgt fagene: higher: matte, norsk og okonomi og standard: fysikk, peace and conflict og japansk for begynnere Er litt spent paa aa ha japansk, men vi faar se hvordan det gaar. Gruer meg litt til leksene her da… Noen av 2.aaringene(norske) sa at man burde sette av ca fire timer i uka til matte higher. Og det var bare for aa gjore lekser! Hvis det er noe man ikke skjonner maa man jobbe med det etterpaa. Men vi faar se hvordan det gaar.

Ellers maa vi ogsaa begynne aa tenke paa hvilke aktiviteter vi vil ta. For tiden tror jeg at jeg vil ta tour choir, aerobic og bibliotekservice (vi maa ta en ting for aa hjelpe skolen, og de fleste anbefaler at man tar den i 1.termin). Ellers kommer jeg nok ogsaa til aa henge meg paa jazzband, men vi skal bare velge tre ofesielle.

Men som sagt har jeg det utrolig bra, og stortrives! Hils alle hjemme fra meg! :D
